Recently, Essex Gospel Community Church’s Associate Pastor of Worship/Discipleship, Adam DeMoor, and Associate Pastor of Family Ministries, Jess DeMoor, presented a $5000 donation to Essex Public School to help provide food to students in need.

EPS Principal Bruno Pallotto said the funds could go towards supporting the school’s breakfast program, or to provide lunch or snacks to students who are without. Those students helped through such programs may have forgotten their own lunch at home or could be of a family currently experiencing financial stress.

Pallotto said the school is grateful for the donation, and expects the funding will go a long way to keep students’ tummies full, which contributes to better focus on learning school material.
