UPDATE:: OPP Seek Public Assistance - Break & Enter - Suspects Identified/Charged

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has arrested and charged two individuals in relation to a Concession 11 break and enter in Tecumseh.


On the afternoon of December 23rd, a resident arriving home observed a vehicle leaving their driveway at a high rate of speed. The family's home had been ransacked and items stolen. In addition, the family's two dogs appeared to have been poisoned requiring urgent medical assistance.


During the investigation the OPP obtained and posted video surveillance footage of persons of interest in this break-in assisting in the identification and arrest of the following individuals:


Bryan HANDS, 33-years-old of Essex remains in custody and is charged with:

-Break and Enter

-Take Auto without Consent

-Cruelty to Animals - 2 counts


Corey RYAN, 35-years-old of Windsor remains in custody and is charged with:

-Break and Enter

-Take Auto without Consent

-Cruelty to Animals - 2 counts

-Fail to Comply with Court Order - 3 counts

The OPP wish to thank the public for their assistance in helping to identify the individuals responsible for this crime.
